I keep on thinking about getting rid of the crate in the kitchen but Rocket likes laying in it. From this perspective he looks so small, but the crate is 3 feet tall and he can’t quite stand or sit up with his head up, so he does what I call his mogwai ear pose.
@H3athers It's his den, and I bet he'll be sad if you get rid of it without a taller replacement for it.
@Render There are two crates still in the bedroom that both he and Tank sleep in, but he likes laying in the one in the kitchen during the day. Tank doesn't, but he was never fed in it. We feed Rocket in the crate to separate him from Tank, so he also associates it with food.
