My husband and I use the term "smoochy" to mean "affectionate", as in "Tank is very smoochy today".
Rocket LOVES to show affection by jumping all over us to lick our faces, especially if we happen to be sleeping. I am woken up every morning by giant Rocket paws and kisses on my face. He's 80 pounds right now.
We coined the term "aggressively smoochy". Rocket is aggressively smoochy.
@H3athers Sounds like my Arthur. Although he is large for a cat, still much smaller than Rocket.
