So the VA randomly contacted my husband to reassess his disability rating. It was odd, as he was just reassessed a year ago.

Welp, it was just so they could downgrade his disability rating. Is this happening to any other disabled vets out there?

I suspect it's some sort of cost savings tactic since we'd rather waste our $ on a wall and a huge tax cut for the rich. Sure. trump looooves our vets....

@H3athers
Mine has not been contacted. And, has never been reassessed for his health related issues due to Agent Orange. The original claim process took nearly two years of wait and record producing from every physician he saw since his discharge. Do they require the same for a reassessment?

@CherNohio They require a lot, but I don't know if it's as extensive. He gets a lot of his care at the VA for issues relating to his service. It took several months to get a response, but not years - maybe 6 months.

@CherNohio I will say it was MUCH faster for them to downgrade him... maybe 2 months.

@H3athers
Ok. I’ll report back if he gets a notice. So far there isn’t any indication he will. He’s in contact with his local VA office and the satellite VA Healy care center. There’s not been mention of it to date.
