@Priestess I understood when they avoided the topic in the speeches. But when she's asked, point blank, and she dances around it by giving a broader, yet non-committal answer, it points to one thing: She thinks the topic (and in turn, the people) are toxic.

IMO, she would be doing herself a favor if she confronted the accusations head-on rather than side-step.
I look at bigots desire to refuse funding for transgender care in the same way as bigots desire to refuse funding for treatment of sickle cell.
