@Graci not to be totally dense but... so what if he is ? Modern medicine has made this very manageable with medication. Lots of people have chronic illness for which they take medication. Not to downplay the seriousness of the disease, but they act like they're speaking to a 1981 crowd or something. I don't get it.

@CarmenSlamdiego To many conservatives it's still the "gay disease" or "gay cancer" so it carries a stigma they feel can be used against a person.
