So the Beauty Berries should be fruiting right now, but the berries are being eaten by the birds, specifically the house finches. They are treating it like an all-you-can-eat buffet.
I don't blame them--the berries look scrumptious! (Photo from last year).

Yes--they ARE lovely! And they appear when a lot of other flowers have packed it in for the season.
