@Graci Hardly surprising when you think the world doesn't want you in it. Straight folks are often terrified of LGBTQ+ because it upsets their rigid ideas about gender and sexuality, which, itself, is hardly surprising since the vast majority of people don't understand sex. Hatred and hostility are defense mechanisms to keep the scary thing, the perceived, largely imaginary threat at bay. Sadly, so many others, especially LGBTQ+ kids, end up suffering for other's ignorance and fear.
