@lenaoflune @Graci Don’t want to piss off the private prison profiteers who have oodles of money to donate.
@Graci "Corrections" officers and their leaders are among the most evil people we have in our society right now, so it's no surprise to me that they'd play a game of "torture the t-slur" for an act that happens so often in prisons it's a part of literally every TV show about them.
And legislators are, predictably, silent, because voters by and large seem to want the incarcerated to suffer.
