@sfleetucker Would seem simple. My stepson just referred to me as Grace for years. Then decided he didn't like step parent so I was just "Grace, my step". It wasn't until about 3 years ago that he apologized for being "a real dick" for years. Now we're just his parents or his moms.
@Graci Sounds like it was a journey, but nobody needed to worry about that but the two of you, and possibly his other mom.
@sfleetucker Right. And no one particularly cared on this end. He called me what he called me. If it worked for him and wasn't insulting to me, good deal. And it was between us. I know a few trans women whose children accept their transition but still insist on "dad".

We've found non-binary titles for relatives have been notably more difficult! Aunt, uncle, and...? "Zizi" is one we've used a bit.
