With no AC or fans running, the house is quiet. So far I have heard a Red Shouldered Hawk, the cats talking to each other, and my very loud stomach reacting to breakfast.

@Graci I got up and out of bed a lot earlier than usual this morning because the cat let out a blood curdling scream. He's had the runs and a dry, warm nose for the last couple of days so it scared the bejeepers out of me. I hurried out into the hall and he was fine; purring and everything else.
