#politics The night before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Leonard Leo threw a lavish party at his house in Maine. This is Part 1 of the first episode of “We Don’t Talk About Leonard,” a new miniseries in which ProPublica reporters Andrea Bernstein, Andy Kroll, and Ilya Marritz investigate the web of money, influence, and power that is reshaping America's courts. https://www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/otm/segments/we-dont-talk-about-leonard-episode-1-part-1-on-the-media

" Maine will have some of the least restrictive abortion laws in U.S. after final vote on governor's bill "
@KazzyH next up, leonard leo buys Maine
@KazzyH says he'll do for the state of Maine what Musk did for Twitter
Chief Justice Roberts has a home not far from me, actually 2.
They must love our fresh air, food, progressive laws, extensive green spaces. 😁 just hanging out up here doing our own " states rights " that they are so fond of thing..
We are not for sale. 🙂
@KazzyH Maine's a beautiful state. When I lived in Boston, I'd get up to Bar Harbor and Acadia every chance I got.
It is pretty ( and cold lol ) I grew up and lived in Boston forever and can't seem to shake my accent 😆
@KazzyH thatt was theone thing about New England. I never could get used to the cold. First thing I noticed at the end of my first winter in Philly and every spring thereafter was how winter tends to end about 3 weeks earlier in Philly than in Boston. We always got at least one snow in April.
