I just got this in my inbox. Had to turn off notifications because i didnt want to get alerted to any more doomsday scenario articles if Repubs force a default. I've lived through 2 of these events and know how bad it was for everyone, not just the economy.

@Bliss it won't. Even 1 day and the military misses a check? Republicans will lose so much support that 2024 will be decided.
It's all just theater. I look at our politics like it's "professionally wrestling". Everyone is playing a role.
