my wife decided parsley would be a good herb to grow this year.
i've used it a couple times for a garnish.
now there's so much.....

who knows how to dry it or whatever so i can bottle it up?

@BlueWatermelon775 just tie a string around the stalk and hang it upside down in the pantry for a week or so and once dry crumble it up and store in jar

@Gierchak
thanks! kind of what I thought, just didn't know how long to let it hang.

will this be more powerful than the store bought stuff or not so much?

@BlueWatermelon775 should be. We also dried dill and fennel and they are both very potent.

@Gierchak

how about lavender? same thing? she got it for it's calming effect so i don't know if that works if it's dried...

@BlueWatermelon775 you can pull the leaves off the stem and lay out on paper towel or dishcloth and let dry. Once dry they. An go in a paper bag or mason jar, stored in a dark cool place. So long as they still have a scent they are good to use.

@BlueWatermelon775 they can be used for making oils, balms,Salves,bug bite sticks, bath soaks,infused vinegar and cooking
