Been years for me. At first I lamented no heels. Nothing like being dressed up in spike heels—sexy.

But sexy is a state of mind not footwear.

I wore heels for so long it hurt to go barefoot. Achilles tendon shrinks? Or something shrinks. Now I wear so infrequently can be difficult. Plus in the bush not safe - very few areas with no holes/cracks to catch and ruin heels.
