Maryland is always a little lower than Pennsylvania. Usually about 30 cents. That's the difference in fuel taxes. We live in PA near the line, so we buy gas whenever we can in MD. MD property taxes are a little higher. Sometimes. Depending on location.
I often feel bad for y'all on the west coast. A friend of mine lives in Everette, WA and I don't know how they do it.
@GeezerWench The recent huge tax in Washington made their gas even more than ours, and ours is at least $1.50 more than elsewhere.

For an update on those #gasprices. Yesterday, 11/13/2024, at the High's in #WhitefordMD, gas was $2.95 a gallon.
TODAY, 11/14/2024, when I drove past there, gas was $3.25 a gallon.
Real glad I filled up yesterday.
@GeezerWench Our cheaper stations are at $4.65, down from $4.85 most of October. Next month, we switch to a "winter blend" with ethynol, and it'll likely go up to $5.
