Why trump says he doesn't need any votes, why he's insulting every group imaginable, and why he has this "little secret" with Speaker Mike Johnson.
It doesn't take a SINGLE member from the House and Senate to make an objection now, it takes 20% of the members of each house of Congress.

@GeezerWench I find it impossible to get wound up about this stuff. I trust that Biden and Pelosi know more than any other person what might or might not happen. I'm sure they have steps in place.
I hate to suggest it, but Biden could just have Johnson and/or Trump arrested and deported to an undisclosed CIA location. Or.. worse. He's immune.

Pfft. The "little secret" is that there's no "little secret", just more bullshit from a pair of bullshit artists.
Johnson has NO role, other than as a plain old representative, in the Electoral Vote Count. He has no particular powers, and Harris is the one in charge of it.
Shit, odds are good that Poindexter might not even BE Speaker by the time they count the electoral votes.
