Same. We called it soufflé. Mostly because we had no idea what soufflé was at the time.
My kiddo plucks the wild strawberries that grow all over our yard and buries them in random spots all over the yard and marks them with sticks, leaves, stones, feathers, etc. for the fairies.
@GeezerWench these food caches are always dug up the next day and it is such validation for her that the fairies (but probably 🐿️ 🐿️) have accepted her offerings.
