So, I’m a (T1) and this morning, I injected insulin as usual and ate my breakfast. It seems I didn’t eat enough food and ended up falling asleep as my blood 🩸 sugar went down a cliff and went dangerously low… Cedar got in my face and licked me, then kept barking at me until I woke up and mustered enough energy to check my levels: then treat the (extremely) low blood sugar levels.

Keep in mind: He’s NOT a trained diabetic service dog. He just… knew something was wrong, somehow. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@Dogofalltrees animals always do. I believe anyone that is living alone with diabetes should have a dog to be there just in case.

@GamingGal I don’t live alone, my wife is here. But she’s recovering from COVID too (like me) so she too was asleep. 💤
