I finished my 4th book so far for 2023 last night (The Lost Apothecary) and it was great! I’m trying to balance nonfiction and fiction a bit better this year since I enjoy both, but I read novels much quicker. Here are the first 4 I’ve read this year. I enjoyed all for quite different reasons, though I didn’t always agree with Klosterman’s take on events of the 1990s.
