Apparently, it’s and today. I would argue that National Cat Day is every day in this house, but it’s a perfect excuse to share a pic of all of our cats. Here are 4 of our cuties (the others will be in my next post) - Bryan, Vincent, Roscoe, and Theo! 😺

@GEAUXJayna So DBF & I aren't the only ones with a super size cat pack (with dog auxiliary). Beautiful crew, thanks for sharing them!

@DJ95X No problem! Glad to know there are other “crazy cat people” among us. 😺 We don’t have any dogs, but I love them - we had dogs when I grew up and Mom and Dad still do.

@GEAUXJayna we're just suckers for animals. Always prided ourselves on taking in anyone who needed a home (seriously, when asked how many cats, the answer is We don't talk about that) but our latest addition, a young yorkipoo who was too much for her original person, has shown us that our limit was before her. 😵‍💫

@DJ95X Yeah, there is a tiny tuxedo cat who has been roaming our backyard lately…we will do our best not to invite him/her in and have 9 at once. We have declared 8 as our limit, but I don’t know. Back in 2008, we thought 6 was our limit, but then a beautiful tortie started hanging around our yard all the time and it was starting to get cold, so we adopted her, and she was with us until 2019, when unfortunately, she passed after a short battle with cancer. We’re suckers for these little ones!

@DJ95X Of course, when we adopted Fiona, Roscoe & Theo in Dec. 2019, the plan was only to adopt 2, but we fell in love with Fiona, and when we asked about her friends, littermates Roscoe & Theo were both buddies of hers. We didn’t want to break them up, so we took all 3. No regrets - they were a wonderful addition, as they all have been. 😺
