Many find it implausible that the yarn was all spindle-spun. I don't think I'm that fast with the spindles - just persistent!

I think there's evidence of spinning 10,000 years ago. It's known that viking sails were made from spindle-spun fiber (citation needed of course).

@Helical_Code It makes sense that spinning would be one of the oldeat crafts. Spinning, weaving, cloth, tapestry... I'm really enjoying the process although I'll warn you now before I share more pictures that I'm slightly color blind so I tend to combine very garish colors together in terrible ways. I'm sure this is going to get interesting. How long did it take you to learn to draft a consistent thread thickness?
