Well...we've made it to Wednesday. The coffee cup is full. The weather is beautiful. Wednesdays are the day that NC DHHS publishes their updated COVID numbers each week. We've been seeing a rise in cases. My manager currently has COVID. I'm being asked to fly in mid-June. I think it's probably time for a second booster. I've been so isolated that I haven't really seen the need for one before now.
@Foxthorn I’m pretty isolated most of the time, too, but I got my second booster last week. Stay safe!
@GrandmaJ I saw in the news that the flu is also having a late surge. I'm wondering if I should get a second flu shot before traveling since my last flu shot was in November.
@Foxthorn I don't know. Ask your doctor. Hopefully wearing a mask and getting your second booster will keep you safe.
@GrandmaJ Yeah I figured I would talk to the pharmacist. My doctor resigned from her practice and I haven't gone through the pain of finding a new one yet. *sigh* I really liked her too.
@Foxthorn I have gone to a nurse practitioner for years and love her. Haven’t gone to a doctor for anything in a long time except eye doctor, dermatologist and the doctor who did my colonoscopy. Nurse Practitioners rock!
@Foxthorn My NP does everything. She is awesome. In my case, I find that NP’s spend more time with me and listen better than any doctor I have ever been to. Highly recommend.
