It should be noted that the Democrats having gained 51 seats in the Senate now have sub peona and investigative powers, which they didn't have before.
Therefore if there IS more investigation to do in the Jan 6th case, THEY can now do it rather than Congress.
@Florence my guess is the DOJ takes the Jan 6 football and Schumer uses this as leverage over House.
@t_lang The DoJ will do their thing and the Senate will do theirs.
Or even subpoena.
