She was almost entirely white as a kitten, apart from face, paws and tail, but after spaying, and shaving her fur for that, and an echocardiogram, also more shaved fur, it grew back darker. She's a lilac colorpoint British Shorthair and hot or cold temps can also affect their fur coloring. Similar to Siamese which are like walking weather maps! But yes, she's mine. Or rather, I'm hers!
