Caroline Cruz came out as bi when she was 13 and one of the things she talked about publicly was how she hated being judged on who her father was, adding 'I don't agree with anything he says'.
She appears to have attempted suicide and yet still the judging goes on.
Children are not mini-me's, this child is clearly her own person.
I don't do thoughts and prayers but I'm sending her every good wish possible that she's able to get the help and support she so clearly needs.

@Florence And her dad refused to leave Washington and come home. This man is more despicable than we had known.
@zacnewman Fortunately, it's about her, not him. I only hope she's able to speak to compassionate and experienced hospital or community folk so that she may come to find her own peace. She's very young and so I'm hopeful she'll get to that point with good care.
