By the way, if anyone's interested in this sort of thing, I use Notion (Pre-Sonus) professional app for iPad pro to record directly from Piano to iPad. They've messed it up a bit in recent years but it's still possible!

@Florence As a PC recording musician (Studio One and Magix Samplitude Pro-X), I can't help much with Apple issues, but I'd check Ebay or maybe Reverb and see if there's an audio adapter you could use?

@XaoslordErie Thank you. Yes, I tried one but it didn't seem to work. I must ask Apple at some point! I love Studio One by the way! I'm so old that I used to use Doctor C years ago on a computer! The computer ones are far better. The iPad one is just quick!

@Florence I've been doing PC-based recording since early versions of Cakewalk in the late '90s, then moved on to Magix products in the early 2000's, adding Studio One, FL Studio, and a couple other DAWs (even Reaper) as I went along. My VST / VSTi plugin collection is huge and I really do need to thin it out one day. I am using a UAD-2 Quad card for DSP processing, and I have many Neve, API and other plugins for it, saving me CPU cycles and RAM.
