@Florence
When my cats do that I always think of it as their Salvadore Dali mood. π
@IrisDallen YES! That's a great description!
@IrisDallen Completely truthfully, THAT is the one that came to mind when you posted that. How odd!
@IrisDallen True. And thank you for including me in the 'great minds'!! I'm not a massive Dali fan but I love Max Ernst and Paul Klee - nothing like Dali, but for some reason, I always think of them together.
@IrisDallen And Schiele. I love his use of color. His name escaped me in the last post, but he's one of my favorite artists.
@Florence I took 2 semesters of Art History in college and aced them, but it's all a blur now. I still have an appreciation for the arts, but most of the names are a blur. I have always loved Georgia O'Keeffe. I fell in love with Munch's "The Scream."
@IrisDallen Mvnch's Stream speaks to me (|sometimes I think he had me in mind when he did it!!) O'Keefe I also like. I'm terrible for remembering names too!
@Florence The Scream is me ever since bu$h v Gore. π³
Dems held their own, but what I find terrifying is how hard they had to fight just to hang on.
@IrisDallen Me too. I remember the Gush/Bore election (as others have called it!) Went to bed thinking Gore won, woke up to BUsh.
@Florence I felt like I'd been punched in the gut when I heard the news. It was a very PHYSICAL sensation.
With Hillary, it was like the bottom dropped out and I was numb for almost a year.
So yeah, I have a real affinity for The Scream.
@IrisDallen I feel ya!
@Florence Well, I think it is probably his most famous. Also, #GMTA π
