I am dismayed and frustrated by so many negative headlines like "Dems in crisis and spiraling"
So often, people believe of themselves what others tell them--is this wise or fair or healthy? No--but it seems to be how many people are shaped
People live into the low expectations others have of them
These headlines are so harmful bc I think they specifically undermine and evoke helplessness re Dems
I loathe how the media profits from our despair and ignorance.
@Minholkin I think it is exploitative, especially so of our collective PTSD from the '16 election. We have learned to have deep distrust of our fellow voters and disdain for their gullibility, and that is probably the largest reason media is successful in dictating the narrative. We cannot shake our heads anymore in disbelief of how we got here. We must join, vote and trust that sanity - and law - will prevail.
