@CinnamonGirlE You're not alone. Rage and anger, however, are in themselves not terribly useful without action.
@FinnegansWhacked @CinnamonGirlE: Often they're not terribly useful *with* action. Loads of raging and angry people do all kinds of pointless, needlessly destructive shit, often even shit that hurts whatever cause they were all lathered up about. Folks sadly but predictably conflate their emotions with reality and worse, knowledge and deep understanding. It's like the guy in my hometown in the 1960s who was so mad at racist Southerners' treatment of black folks he beat up and killed a white...
@FinnegansWhacked @CinnamonGirlE: ...dude who came to town and had Alabama plates on his car. (He didn't mean to kill him. He just got carried away.) The dude he killed was some kind of election observer sent by the Johnson Administration, one of the good guys, but the dude just had to "do something".
That's an extreme example, yes, but usually folks ignore the Nerf ones.
@thedisasterautist @FinnegansWhacked
Sad result of emotion ruling logic.
@CinnamonGirlE @FinnegansWhacked: Alas, far and away more common than not.
@thedisasterautist @CinnamonGirlE I know I'm making a huge assumption in what I posted last, but I'm not speaking to irrational, mindless troglodytes who slaughter in fits of anarchy. I'm speaking to folks who hew to the Philosopher's idea of the Charioteer controlling both the Black Horse and the White Horse to his/her Will.
@FinnegansWhacked @CinnamonGirlE: Understood and empa- and sympathized with, truly. That crowd is just dreadfully, dreadfully small.
@FinnegansWhacked
Absolutely correct.
