When a company sells something, say a piece of furniture, that ends up being of such a design that it injures or even kills people, it’s taken off the market. Furniture, housewares, toys… Hmmmm, I wonder if this can apply to other things that have a certain design that kills people? I bet some clever lawyers could figure some new argument based on design. Whatever’s been tried already hasn’t worked. I’m no lawyer, just thinking outside the box.

@CJLavoie …there’s not enough $$$ in doing that…the gun lobby is just about bullet-proof…every single pun intended.

@FayreLylith Weren’t they trying to file for bankruptcy last year?

@CJLavoie Rog-the NRA was, I should've clarified. The gun lobby/arms manufacturers are much bigger than just the NRA. I know the NRA has been the biggest proponent here in the US, but I don't think they're the only ones. They're just the loudest ones.

@FayreLylith I realize the gun lobby is more than the NRA.

@CJLavoie Rog-then you understand that it’s not nearly as simple as holding just the aNRA accountable, and the futility of trying given that the arms lobby is (probably-I haven’t checked) bigger than the NRA.
