I miss the way computing and the internet were in 2005-2009. I mean sure, people used blank pngs to format their sites and Windows ME was still a thing, but computers also used to be much more fun to use. UIs had actual depth to them instead of this boring flat shit we get today. User experience was designed primarily around being fun, simple, and friendly. Everything is so corporate and bland nowadays, it's fucking boring ๐

You know, between the threat of impending fascism, global warming making the air unbreathable, and my body's urgent need for cuddles, I really don't think I'm going to make it past 2025. I'm not even being dramatic, I literally cannot envision a scenario in which I survive. SOMETHING has to give, man. That something really needs to be cuddles.
If you're having a bad day, listen to this.
I'm looking for a drummer and bassist around the LA area who want to join a raprock band. I'm on rhythm guitar, and we've got two rappers plus a vocalist lined up. Just need a live drummer and bassist to start playing shows.
Bands we like include Hollywood Undead, Attila, Starset, Linkin Park, I Prevail, Dangerkids, and Fort Minor.
I'm open to having a lead guitarist as long as you're not going to go Shredfingers McChucklenuts on us the whole time we're jamming.
I've got a very strange way of perceiving music. The best way I've found to describe it is this: If FL Studio were any more tactile, it would translate perfectly to Tony Stark's holographic interface. I could just reach into Maximus and actually knead at the frequencies I want, tugging and pulling them up while suppressing others that aren't needed. If we ever get that kind of technology out to the public, my first step is going to be to port FL Studio to it.
Well I suppose my first few meaningful toots should give you guys a bit of info on me. I love rock music. I've been recording my own demos for around 3 years now and releasing them under the name "A Tear Through Reality" which has been one hell of a wild ride.
I'm a skilled video editor who's fluent with After Effects to an extent. My PFP was actually edited in After Effects. I use it for everything, it's just that versatile.
