seed bread dough rising
it has chia flax sunflower coriander seeds and oats
going with a loaf with added parmesan and pumpkin seeds, and breadsticks. second rise
busy work week comin up but bread is ready for lil cucumber tomato sandwiches and breadsticks for salads and whatnot
we ate some breadsticks and they are super seedy and delicious
@impermanence42 I made rolls for the church Homecoming, and brought half of them back home. That was kind of surprising, they usually go pretty quick.
No matter, Charlie (7yo) loooooves bread even more than I do, so it won't go to waste. After today's rain, the cucumbers should explode, and the tomatoes are in their August happy place, so I'll soon join you with the sandwiches.
@impermanence42 Oh yeah, this is the first significant rain we've had in a week. I was planning to run the hoses out to get everything watered.
The fun part was, I took my 7yo to church in the Miata. Top down, blue sky, sun shining. Next thing I know, he comes up and says, "It's raining." WTF??? I had the windows down, and the top up (but not latched, to let heat out). I had to button things up.and pronto. But at least it kept things cooled off.
@FARfetched58 can’t go wrong with leftover bread and garden harvests! :) I cannot WAIT for some rain again. Enjoy!
