Jfc the local hospital's ER is so dysfunctional. They had my mom there for 5 hours just to misdiagnose her with a sprained leg. Like wtf she came because of a possible DVT and they did an ultrasound. There was no sprain or indication of a sprain. A f***ing 17 year old EMT could have figured that out. The staff straight hallucinated this diagnosis. Literally worse than useless.
@EileenKCarpenter idk or especially care how they make billing work but the diagnosis they put on her chart was sprained leg.

"Didn't have a clot" isn't a diagnosis that will get your insurance to cover the visit. There has to be SOME diagnosis on the bill.
