@KazzyH We once drove up the coast of Maine a bit. I know we hit Kittery. We stopped and looked at a lighthouse, as a tropical storm was blowing in off the coast.....It was so amazing! We really loved the little bit of Maine we saw. It's always been one place I'd willingly move to.

@KazzyH It is, yes. I think that's why I could consider Maine, it's very similar to the PNW. At least, weather wise. I do not how how the people compare....! lol

Our area is good. Lots of art, really good food & the people are nice for the most part.

Maine is kinda pricey.

My son in law and daughter noticed no maga signs although they do exist. My county usually votes blue like the bulk of our coastal area. Up north not so much.

Low crime probably because we are the oldest state and it's too cold to crime in the winter. 🙂

Btw I love the pwnw too. I ate my way thru years ago and took the most magnificent river ride.
