Things you can say to both toddlers and dogs:

Don’t play with your poop!
Stop chewing on that!
Stay in the yard.
Get off that.
No biting!
My shoes are not your toys.
Hold still while I trim your nails.
Stop trying to catch bees!
Quit playing in the mud!
That is not yours.

And people say pets aren’t children. 😉
