Given what's happening at colleges and the lunacy of red state Republicans, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't soon have a repeat of Kent State 1970.

Trump sure is spending much of the trial from behind the safety of his closed eyeballs. "I hear nothing...I see Nothing...therefore I'm winning" must be his mantra.

Not sure why the called Browning to the stand other than to state the obvious: "yeh, we gots lots o' video of Trump saying awful things."

In the 60s & 70s, student protest didn't have to consider the cost of being kicked out of college. But now? I hope these students don't think their parents will be pleased at still paying thousands in student loans after junior gets kicked out of his ivy league school over misguided protests.

Seems like the steam from world and countrywide events are putting us all in a mental pressure cooker.

Biden better get his ass in gear in terms of ending the arms sales to Israel and forcing Netanyahu to end the genocide, otherwise he'll find that US student protests are going to have a blow back that will cost him the election.

Unpopular military involvement and actions in Vietnam that were widely protested against by students were one of the reasons why Johnson didn't run in 1968, and why the Dems lost.

Biden better learn from history.

I thought RFK jr.'s voice was akin to a cheese grater on a chalkboard but geeeez, Lawyer Sauer's voice sounds like a Dalek with constipation.

Kinda quiet on the firehose. Are we all glued to listening to the SCOTUS arguments or something?

Seems like Trump's various financial crimes were done before he was president and therefore he has no immunity from prosecution for them if that's how his lawyers are arguing.

The arguments that Trumps lawyers are making before the SCOTUS are ridiculously avoiding the facts that criminality should be punished. Presidents aren't kings and should be subject to the rule of law same as everyone else.

I think for the betterment of my own mental health, I'll be tuning out for the rest of the day. Otherwise, I'll mull with rage at the lack of proper mental health care in this country.

Tried to inform Substack about the Suicide Manifesto and of course all you can talk to is a friggin AI chatbot. Pointless, useless technology in real world situations of trying to get something taken down.

I may satire the court proceedings and Trump , but I dread what kind of insanity will be taking place outside that courtroom over the next few weeks. We know damn well Trump will keep amping up his minions over this, until they're reallllly dangerous.
