@phase I'm no Musk fan, but that policy isn't unreasonable if they're starting to experience bottlenecks as they build out. A terabyte is a significant amount of data and their throttling versus capping. Plus you can use all you want in the off hours if you need to download mega games. Having many clients stuck on HughesNet or <10mbps DSL, Starlink is revolutionary for them given the speeds they are stuck with elsewhere.

@MBinNC @phase Throttling can make the service totally unusable even for just browsing the web, anything involving video, gaming, or downloading large files will basically just time out. BTDT on a different network. Was part of the class action when at&t decided it was going to throttle their grandfathered unlimited data customers after 2GB when there'd been no agreement to that and it was never a part of the old unlimited plans. They had to stop Throttling until they could force a plan change.
