@teengee @Rocker That was my thought too. I lived in a very old upscale apartment building in SF for a while. It was basically a studio apt with a separate kitchen and bath. We had a Murphy bed which was perfect for such a small space. Place was beautiful with stained glass transoms and hardwood floors. Kitchen had no dishwasher but had gas stove and a trash chute (very convenient on 3rd floor), bathtub was a clawfoot. Elevator was cage style. Was $1800 a month in 1978, probably $6k a month now.
