My cute little cat, Poppy, that will always be kitten size decided to stand on her hind legs at the same time I was leaning down to look under the bed for something. She's mostly blind in her left eye so probably didn't notice me. Her little head collided so hard with my right eye that am now having weird flashes of light when I blink and eye is trying to be colorful. Who the hell manages to get punched in the eye by their cat's head?? Surprised she didn't knock herself out!!

@Embers You should be ok. However, if the symptoms get worse, I suggesy a visit to the ER. It's not worth playing with your vision.

@dw98439 Vision got worse, especially in bright light. Very weird like seeing through gelatin with tons of tiny black dots, still the bright dots when I blink so now sitting in the ER on a Monday evening (the worst time to go to the ER of course) but I'd rather be safe than blind.

@Embers Oh absolutely. I sincerely hope it's nothing serious.

@dw98439 Thanks. Been here nearly 3 hours so far and still at least 5 people who were already here when I arrived waiting. I just want them to shine a light in my damned eye and tell me my retina is intact so I can go home and feed my cats.

@dw98439 Wow..They're going to do a CT of my eye...how cool is that? Hope I get to see the images!

@dw98439 Hi David. It's still having issues though the bright flashes have decreased some. Still tons of floaters. Have appointment with an opthamologist though the only thing left that hasn't been done yet is dilation of my eyes to look at the inside of them. It may just take a while for everything to clear up. Thanks for asking as it reminded me to do my ointment which I keep forgetting!!
