I took 2 steps then stopped. I almost killed myself pulling 2 heavy boxes off from a shelf. I purged some things. Need to take that 3rd step.

No, you haven't! It's my own stubbornness and determination, thinking that I am 25 at 63! 😂 But, I got the boxes down and tomorrow I will tackle those. These are 2 boxes filed with paperwork from being a social worker. My grad school told us to hold onto things, in case the licensing board requests the paperwork. Well, shit, I've been a SW for almost 30 years! Time to let it go.....Otherwise, I purged other stuff! I have 2 huge bags and a box filled with glass!

I've helped clear Braziliian pepper, Giant Hogweed, Multifleur Rose, and this sounds a lot like how hard it is to clear the peppers and roses. It's fast growing, and tedious to manually be rid of.

It also changes the soil to encourage other plants to grow there, changing the landscape and local ecosystem if not stopped.

Oh, so very true! I have the determination, not the patience right now. I just want it done already. But, I am slowly getting there.

The kind of work that you are describing really does take patience, determination and lots of perseverance! Very tedious work for sure! I read what people post about with tending their grounds and it's amazing! Blood, sweat and pure grit!

I hope so too! It really does help make life so much easier. Maybe if they realize the sense of satisfaction that they will feel, will help motivate them. For me, it just comes naturally. I'm extremely proactive with everything that I do. I don't like things just hanging. It served me well as a social worker too. Old habits sometimes don't die. I'm just a little tired today. But I'm focused on what I want to accomplish tomorrow.
