Up until this year, you could walk down those stairs and into a sandy beach that stretched out 10m to even 20m at low tide.
Now the council’s had to put up barriers because it’s all been washed away. I’ve been here over 25 years and have never seen that before. I’ve seen a fair bit of sand washed away by storms for a few days, but it came back, and this time it hasn’t. 🤷🏼♂️
