Maybe it's a case of familiarity breeding contempt, but while I like Sydney very much, I dunno if we should be #1 on any list of "The best cities in the world" 😬
Yeah, I hear you. The more I think about it, tourists get a pretty rosy view and don't see the day-to-day stuff that we locals do.
Also, if someone were reading that article in the OP in their flat in northern England - in Leeds, say - Sydney might look even more attractive than it does to me, who gets to see it every day and has to fight with the traffic 😂
@DyDave Yeah, traffic is one of our big issues here too.
