They still rock, eh? And, yes, Cameron seems to make everything just that little bit better.
To me, it's like AC/DC with Chris Slade or whatever, and then they get Phil Rudd back and are noticeably much better. The groove!
Now, from what I understand, Matt's a far nicer and... well... less complicated (?) bloke, but the point stands. ๐ฅ
Who were the PJ drummers?
Krusen, Chamberlain, Abbruzzese, Irons, Cameron?
And a couple of times Klinghoffer...๐ฎ
Krusen is pretty damn swinging. Chamberlain too. I guess it was Dave A and his proto-MAGA politics that got him booted? Dunno.
Never was a fan of Irons. Something seemed wrong between his Peps days and joining PJ.
Was happy Cameron joined but I get where people dislike his style...which DOES seem different from the Soundgarden ๐ฅ
Waddaya gonna do?
@DyDave Just listened the VS. album this weekend. I wanted to show my kids. It holds up!
I actually like it more now than I did back then ๐
@DyDave
Saw 'em in April '92 (St. Pete) and on that year's Lolla (Orlando).
Haven't seen 'em since.
I even turned down tix to see 'em at Mansfield (MA) '02.
Also --
Matt Cameron.
That is all.
