Looks like the independent Australian Electoral Commission has officially decided that where I live is now in a different federal electorate. They do it purely by population, and there's no opportunity for partisan gerrymandering, so that's cool.
It's also cool that I simply switch from one excellent independent MP, Zali Steggall (l), to another, Dr Sophie Scamps (r), so I don't even need to figure out new voting preferences 👍
