Update:
There were only 2 grass fires in addition to the ones that were going yesterday, and thankfully, all of them are under control.
The weather's good enough that the hero Firies are out doing 5 hazard-reduction burns today. 👏

Reckon I'll be okay. The Pacific Ocean's only about 300-400m from here, so my emergency plan is to get to the ocean pool down by the beach and ride it out there if it comes to that.
Only 3 fires so far, so that's good.
But all it'll take is for some arsehole to chuck his durry out his ute window* into the scrub and, whoosh!
