I've been listening to podcasts and music today and haven't read the newspaper yet because I know with as much certainty as I know anything at alt that every sports reporter, opinion writer, and pundit in Australia will - as they inevitably do after a Games - be talking about medals per capita etc., and it's genuinely not worth the energy 😂 😂

@DyDave Congratulations to Australia and New Zealand. Germany on 10, and every politician in Germany is like "How could this steady Olympic decline happen over the past decades when we focused on saving money and not investing in anything? It's a mystery."
Seems like there might be a clue in there somewhere 😉 😂
I forgot that my Kiwi mate would be even more keen to discuss medals per capita than anyone else given his nation's unprecedented success.
He tells me that there's a whole website set up to calculate it and it was invented by - wait for it - a Kiwi, of course!! 🤦♂️ 😂 😂🤣
