¡Zorro!

I’ve always loved Zorro. From the reruns of the 50s ones right up to this version, he’s always been the hero of the regular people.

@DyDave
Original tv series was great. It was a Sunday night family highlight.
Followed up by The Swamp Fox which I only just discovered starred Leslie Nielsen 😵‍💫

😂

Do you remember Bill Collins’ classic movies on Channel Ten back in the day?

Apart from his adoration of Deanna Durbin, he loved swashbuckling.

I learned about movies from him 🤷🏼‍♂️

@DyDave
There was a guy in Japan like that.
Nagaharu Yodogawa.
“the host of Sunday Western Movie Theatre, a job to which he was so devoted that he did not miss a single appearance until just a week before his death. During his three decades as the show's host he interviewed film stars "ranging from Charlie Chaplin to Steven Seagal". Known for closing each show with his signature line "Sayonara, sayonara, sayonara".”

Someone used to irreverently call him San Sayonara San ✨
