In even more good news, unless the remaining seats fall *SUPER* disproportionately to the so-called "Reform" party, Farage's fascists won't get anywhere near the 13 seats that they were touting.
Their entire Parliamentary representation will consist of Nige and 3-4 mates, and will fit comfortably in an estate car with plenty of space to spare if they could get a dog to like them or whatever π
Only 8 seats up for grabs now. It's very unlikely that any will go to "Reform".
And, since dogs are objectively smarter than the voters in the four constituencies that elected these fascists, it's safe to say no dog will ever like them so they won't even need an estate car. I suggest a Morris Marina since they insist on buying British.
On a serious note: they need to adopt preferential voting ASAP. Nigel Farage only got 46% of the vote in Crapton, and might have lost on preferences. π€·ββοΈ
@DyDave β€οΈ Good for you guys!π
Oh, it wasn't me! π
I'm just cheering them on and wishing them well from the place they shipped their convicts to π
They've had a rough trot under the Tories and they deserve far better.
@DyDave I've been watching this page since the first seats were called. It's been great to watch.
It really is good, eh? Very well done π
Incidentally, I really like this map they have in The Guardian:
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2024/jul/04/uk-general-election-results-2024-live-in-full
It highlights why those red state/blue state US maps are always so silly by showing that the geographical one only has distinct areas of blue because only people in less densely populated seats voted for the Tories. When you show the seats as equal in size, the thrashing is obvious.
Good map π
