I bought this book while studying authoritarianism at university, and I find myself going back to it regularly after reading the news these days.

It's highly respected in academic circles and contains a widely cited definition of fascism. The language isn't too academic-y, though, so it's an easy and interesting read.

It's likely to be in a lot of libraries, and it only costs $AU16.99 on Kindle (that's probably $US2.00 😂 ). If you're interested in history and whatnot, it's well worth a look.
