No one intimadates. She's a nice sharing her garden tips with me and she sees me struggle/fight those darn weeds every 2 weeks.
I tried the water with dish soap. It didn't work at all and same with soap,vinegar and salt. I don't get how others say it worked for them, but me....nada, nope, zip, , no-way-Jose on this yard. Lol
It's just too f'n hot for me to keep pulling them out by the roots. Soooo, I guess I'm gonna give the chem a try.

If you want an alternative that doesn't endanger your life and your entire planet, I suggest picking out a native low growing ground cover to fill the space and suppress weeds. Where I'm at in Shenandoah plants like chrysogonum virginianum or wild violets do the trick.
